Where we are

The post code for the Food Festival is CV36 4AA which is the centre of the town of Shipston-on-Stour.

Directions

From the North:  Leave the M40 at Junction 15.  Take the A429 west and follow signs for Stow and Cirencester.  At the roundabout junction with the A3400, take the 1st exit and head south for approximately 3 miles to Shipston town centre. 

 

From the South:  From Oxford, go north on the A44 and then the A3400.  On entering Shipston-on-Stour, continue for approximately half a mile to the town centre.

 

From the West:   Leave the Fosse Way (A429) at Portobello Farm (signposted Shipston-on-Stour) and go east on the B4035 for about 1.5 miles to Shipston town centre.

 

From the East:    From Banbury, take the B4035 West.  Continue for approximately 12 miles and cross the bridge over the River Stour into Shipston near the town centre. 

Parking

There are a number of car parks in Shipston-on-Stour and free on-road parking around the town. 

  • Telegraph Street Car Park:   CV36 4DA

  • Bridge Car Park:   CV36 4DW

  • Mill Street Car Park:   CV36 4AW

  • West Street Car Park:   CV36 4GB

Road Closures:

The following roads will be closed from 6am to 6pm on Sunday 8th September 2024:

  • The Market Square

  • High Street

  • Sheep Street from junction with the Hgh Street east to its junction with Church Street

 

Note: There will be no parking in the High Street or Market Square from 6am to 6pm on Sunday 10th September 2023. (Road Closure permit granted)

Public Transport according to online timetables

There are buses on a Sunday to Shipston-on-Stour from Stratford and Chipping Norton
